The closer I draw into Christ, the harder it becomes to live in a world so contrary to Him. Things that upset His heart hurt mine. I pray that I how I act, the words I speak, and my heart reflect the Spirit that lives within me.

Hahaha I literally burst out laughing at this. 😂 “non religious Christian = lukewarm”

Religious = works YOU MUST DO for salvation and right standing

Christianity = relationship with Christ; faith in His death and resurrection that through this our sins were paid for and we are now deemed righteous in Him, NOT by what we do ourselves but what He has already done.

If I was a “religious” Christian I’d be doing things because I feel I have to in order to be worthy. But I’m not “religious”. I have faith in Jesus and what He’s done. I’m already deemed righteous through Him and I do things because I love Him.
